Tregoweth Edmond "Treg" Brown (4 November 1899 - 28 April 1984) was a sound editor responsible for the sound effects in many Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. He won the 1965 Academy Award for Sound Effects for his work on the film The Great Race. His sound effects were sometimes used posthumously in Warner Bros. animation projects.

  • Sylvester and Junior watch a newsclip of Treg catching a "sharp-nosed tralfaz" in "Fish and Slips" (1962).
  • The 1998 Animaniacs episode "Back in Style" features a testimony from a former Termite Terrace animator named Treg Green, a clear reference to Treg Brown.
