[edit] Plot Summary

Bugs Bunny introduces the show in this episode and how it was created. An animator is in danger of losing his job if he doesn't come up with a hit show by the following morning. Bugs, "hanging around" in a picture on the animators office, tells him that he should use rabbits (Can't go wrong with rabbits, doc!), so at first, he creates an overly-sweet baby bunny, but decided not to have it because "it could give people cavities". Next, He creates a flame-thrower wielding Commando bunny but realized that he's too violent. Lastly, He decides to "split the difference" to create Buster and Babs Bunny. However, the animator loses hope in creating a new show and crumbles them up and leaves. The duo took it upon themselves to make a new show, and started by creating a locale to call their own home, thus creating Acme Acres. Then they jump into their created home and select sidekicks and friends in Hamton Pig and Plucky Duck, and Gogo Dodo who they promptly send to Wackyland. Then they unleash their enemies who would appear see in future episodes, including the infamous Montana Max, the character whom the animator promised the new show to, but was rejected. As soon as they have all of their enemies, the bunnies write up stories and scripts for the show. Max comes up and steals the scripts from the bunnies and tosses them out of Acme Acres, back into the animators office. Seeing Buster and Babs give up, Bugs, who was still "hanging around" in the picture frame, comes in and lends his help to the two rabbits. Bugs paints the famous Acme Looniversity on the Acme Acres map, where the characters will get cartoon knowledge from past Warner Bros. cartoon stars as their teachers. Bug also tells them that Max is a typical enemy who'll always fall for disguises, so Buster and Babs disguise themselves as Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam to get the scripts back from Max. When Max sees through their disguises, a typical chase scene ensues with Buster and Babs coming through at the end. Not only did they save their show, but they saved the animator's job, too. When they ask for a "Created by" credit, the animator says "Sure, in your dreams, pal!" They attack the animator as the episode ends. The actual credits of the show do include the names of the two rabbits, stating "Created by: Buster and Babs".
