The title is a play on the book and film L.A. Confidential.
A camera crew films Taz and his family to make a documentary, but everyone acts too nice in front of the camera. The director tries to stir things up by playing pranks and framing Taz for them. Taz overhears him bragging to the studio about it, then swipes one of their cameras and tapes the director to prove his innocence. Hugh switches films to get even with the director, but it ends up winning him awards instead.
