Bull and Axl Gator hear an old folk tale that says if you get a Tasmanian Devil wet, it can't spin away. They rig a water bucket up in a tree and bait it with a frozen dinner. Taz can't bite through the dinner so he licks it, and his tongue freezes to it.
Meanwhile, Wendal T. Wolf has failed to fit in with the monkey population. He happens upon Taz, pulls the dinner off his tongue, and pulls the water bucket down onto himself. Taz leaves and Bull and Axl come back to check their trap. They think the wolf is just a silly dog that wouldn't make a good zoo animal, but Wendal thinks being in the zoo sounds like a spa vacation. The gators set up more traps for Taz, but Wendal springs them and begs to go to the zoo. They finally agree to take him when he points out that he is the last Tasmanian wolf. When they try to put him in a cage, he has second thoughts. Just then, Taz springs one of their traps and they go to catch Taz instead, but a wet Taz spins just as well as a dry one.
