Plot
It's midnight at a bookstore, and suddenly the characters from the books and magazines are coming to life. A bulldog from an adventure book attempts to rob a bank, using girls as a distraction, but he is caught and sentenced to Life (Magazine). Luckily there's a magazine called Escape.

However, the special ending rendition of "Merrily We Roll Along" is not present as the dubbed version was the source of the soundtrack for the DVD and used the 1941-55 rendition instead of the special end cue present on the BR reissue.[1]
Censorship
- Cartoon Network airings of this cartoon delete the short scene with Zulu natives.[2]
