It has been decided that the Looney Tunes Wiki will no longer use the Wiki chat feature due to lack of activity. However, we now use the Discord chat.

This is an official project page of Looney Tunes Wiki. This means that these are guidelines of our terms, which must be followed. Failure to follow these terms can result in anvil drops or account closures from this wiki and its affiliates.

The Discord chat is for socializing, which can be accessed by clicking the Connect button on the Discord box to the right of this text. If you are unable to see the Discord box, click here to access the Discord server. Wiki discussion should be held in the forum. You must create a Discord account to have access to Discord.

DISCORD/Chat PolicyEdit

Any rule violated may result in a kick (if you have a Wikia account) or ban (if you don't have a Wikia account) from the chat. Any user who was kicked or banned from the chat may also be subject to an anvil drop on the wiki as well. Once users are banned, it is hard to communicate with the staff to get back into the chat, so please follow the rules.

LT Chat Mod

We "Tunes" prefer to aim for the head when whacking trolls with banhammers.

  • Follow the Discord Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
  • Users who have a FANDOM/Wikia account upon joining the Discord for the first time must state their FANDOM/Wikia username upon entering unless their Discord username matches or contains their Wikia name. If your Discord name is different from your Wikia name, you are required to tell Acme Staff. Changing your nickname on the server to include your Wikia username is also acceptable.
  • No spamming
  • Spamming is defined as the repeated posting of unwanted content. This includes posting off-topic images in channels, posting pointless messages, abusing mentions, repeatedly joining and leaving the server, etc.
  • Anyone spamming excessively will be kicked out of the Discord chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki.
  • No harassing (this includes cyberbullying), trolling, persecuting, flamebaiting, or mocking other users.
  • Anyone caught doing these things will be banned from the chat and will be subject to bans on the wiki.
  • Do not post full episodes of TV shows on the server. This is a public server that WB staff members can theoretically access.
  • Anyone caught of this behavior will get a warning. If it happens again, they will be kicked from the chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki.
  • No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, or any other form of prejudice. There is ZERO TOLERANCE for this.
  • Users who engage in such behavior will be banned from Discord immediately and also have their editing rights on the wiki stripped immediately. Users who don't have a Discord account and engage in this behavior will be banned from the chat.
  • No inappropriate links/images
  • "Inappropriate" includes, but is not limited to, content that is sexual/NSFW, excessively gory, or prejudiced. This includes "jokes."
  • Anyone caught of this behavior will be kicked (if they have a Wikia account, banned if they don't) immediately from the chat for spam and also will be banned on the wiki.
  • No sex/NSFW talk
  • Anyone caught using sex/NSFW talk will get a warning. If it happens again, they will be kicked from the Discord chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki.
  • No illegal drug or gang talk.
  • Most drugs (with the exception of over-the-counter drugs) are illegal for minors to use. As such, there are users on this site who are under 18 and talking about drugs (selling them or using them) in the Discord chat will not be allowed. Gang talk is annoying and will fall under spam chat policy. Users may be warned for a first offense not to do it again. If they continue it again, they will be kicked from the chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki for a second offense.
  • No threatening other users. And don't say "I was joking."
  • Threatening a user is a form of harassment. Recently, there have been a lot of people threatening to shoot schools and other public places in the United States. And some of the threats actually came true. As such, the Looney Tunes Wiki tries to provide a safe editing environment for everyone. Threatening other users with death or intention to hurt is ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. Threats that could be seen as serious are also prohibited, even if you're joking. There is ZERO-TOLERANCE for this.
  • Users who engage in such behavior will be banned from Discord immediately, regardless of whether they have an account or not, and also have their editing rights on the wiki removed immediately.
  • Threatening to hack another user's computer or Wikia account, however, just falls under harassment. Users may be warned for a first offense not to do it again. If they continue it again, they will be kicked from the chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki for a second offense.
  • No pedophilia apologism, or anything sexualizing minors (fictional or not). There is ZERO TOLERANCE for this.
  • Because Wikia is located in the United States, "minor" is defined as anyone under 18. This policy applies equally to both fictional minors and real-life minors.
  • Characters who are established to be children in the original source material also count as minors, even if their exact age has not been provided.
  • For example, sexualizing Elmyra Duff will be treated exactly as if a real-life minor had been sexualized.
  • Users who engage in such behavior will be banned from Discord immediately, regardless of whether they have an account or not, and also have their editing rights on the wiki removed immediately.
  • DO NOT GIVE YOUR ADDRESS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, or BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER. DO NOT ASK USERS FOR THOSE LISTED ABOVE.
  • Users do not have to answer other personal information questions (phone numbers, Facebook accounts, email) if they don't want to.
  • Anyone who reveals their personal information will get a warning and will have their message deleted for their own safety. If it happens again, they will be kicked from the Discord chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki.
  • Anyone who asks for personal information will be kicked from the chat (if they are a Wikia member) and will have their editing rights stripped immediately. Users who don't have a Wikia account and engage in this behavior will be banned from the chat.
  • You may block other users if they are bothering you and no Acme Staff are online. Otherwise, report them to us, then we will kick them out. Do not block the Acme Staff. Anyone who is caught blocking Acme Staff will be kicked and may be banned from the chat.
  • Users who engage in such behavior will be kicked from Discord immediately and also have their editing rights on the wiki stripped immediately. Users who don't have a Discord account and engage in this behavior will be banned from the chat.
  • Anyone caught using the prohibited words will get a warning. If it happens again, they will be kicked from the Discord chat and may be subject to bans on the wiki.
  • Mentioning all Acme Staff or LTW Discord Staff should only be done in two cases: 1) staff conversations (which an Acme Staff or LTW Discord Staff member should initiate), and 2) emergencies, such as raids. Abusing mentions (i.e., by mentioning Acme Staff for mundane reasons) is annoying and will be considered spamming.
  • Anyone mentioning Acme Staff or LTW Discord Staff for mundane reasons will receive two warnings, then they will be kicked from the chat for spamming and may be subject to bans on the wiki.

LTW Discord Staff guidelinesEdit

  • Give reasons as to why a user is being wrongful instead of automatically kicking them, unless the offense dictates an immediate ban or the user's behavior is annoying or harmful.
  • Acme Heads, Wizards, and LTW Discord Staff are technically not really above other users in terms of violating the rules themselves, as they will be subject to consequences as well, but are still above the users when enforcing the chat rules.

Kicking & BanningEdit

  • Chatters may be kicked from the Discord chat without warning only for unwanted spam, asking of personal information, sexualization of minors or the support thereof, or violations of the FANDOM/Wikia Terms of Use. Otherwise, chatters must be notified about their specific inappropriate behavior before being kicked.
  • Please don't use threatening language in notifications. Simply explain how the chatter's behavior is inappropriate, and only give warnings when necessary.
  • For severe violations in Discord chat, users may also have their editing rights stripped from the wiki as well.
  • Ban time is up to the banning staff member and should be discussed among the other LTW Discord Staff.
  • It is recommended that LTW Discord Staff unban users manually after seven days, with progressively longer bans if users continue to misbehave. If a user is considered especially annoying to the Discord server and/or the wiki, LTW Discord Staff should decide if a more severe punishment is needed, up to and including a permanent ban from not only the Discord server, but also the wiki.
