The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a law created to protect the privacy of children under 13. The Act was passed by the United States Congress in 1998 and took effect in April 2000.
If you want to remain editing, for safety reasons, please do not reveal your age, unless you are 13 and older and are fine with it. See here for more information.
There are serious consequences for breaking this law, including prison time or charges. Please refrain from asking minors (people under 18) about their personal information to be safe. If you feel unsafe on Wikia due to a threat or a stalker, please report the users to Acme Staff, Wikia, and if necessary, contact law enforcement. Law enforcement will work with FANDOM/Wikia to track IP addresses and their respective locations. For IPs located in other countries, that is unknown.
