Red Ryder (aka Red Hot Ryder) is a Looney Tunes character. He was voiced by Mel Blanc.
About Red[]
Ryder is a dimwitted sheriff in a sheriff's outfit. He has red hair, hence his nickname.
His belly button is showing while raising up.
Appearances[]
Ryder first appeared in "Buckaroo Bugs", which is the only classic cartoon in which Bugs Bunny is portrayed as a full-on villain, this time as the Masked Marauder. Ryder ends up with Bugs kissing him at the end.
He also appears in Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage as an enemy in the second stage. A few swift kicks (or pies to the face) will reveal his boxers, making him VERY embarrassed (as opposed to "Buckaroo Bugs", where it just made him mad).
He and his horse made a quick cameo in Looney Tunes: Rabbits Run.

- He is a parody of the Western hero Red Ryder of the comic strip of the same name.
- His voice is based on Clem Kaddidlehopper, a character played by comedian Red Skelton, and says his catchphrase, "Here I am!"
