Porky's Moving Day is a 1936 Looney Tunes short directed by Jack King.

Plot[]

A woman's house, on the side of the cliff, is about to fall into the sea, thanks to waves washing away the cliff. In a panic, she call's Porky's moving company. Porky's assistant, a former boxer, starts swinging when he hears a bell until he is hit on the head, when he stops and says, "Okay, boss." Porky's van is pulled by an ostrich. They get to the house and have various adventures while moving the furniture, mostly because the entire house keeps tilting back and forth on the shaky ground. Finally, a big wave washes most of the house's contents in the van.

This is Jack King's final cartoon before returning to Disney. He left with hopes that he would be able to direct cartoons in color, something Leon Schlesinger had only allowed Friz Freleng and Tex Avery to do for much of the decade.
This is also the last Looney Tunes cartoon to use the opening that has Beans, Little Kitty, Oliver Owl, and Porky Pig in the opening; the next Looney Tunes cartoon, "Milk and Money", marked the debut of an opening that solely featured Porky.
This cartoon updates the "That's all Folks!" script to be in the design of Merrie Melodies cartoons at the time, although "Milk and Money" would temporarily use the older design for the special ending gag.
