1999 commercial for MCI 5¢ Sundays plan. The large long distance market (which at one time accounted for almost half of all advertising on TV) was at the tail end of the "plan" phase and moving into the "dial around" (10-10-xxx) phase at this point on the way to becoming a marginal market. Michael Jordan stars with Tweety Bird (riding on the long tail of the 1996 movie Space Jam) telling us how much we can save if we switch to MCI's Sundays plan.

This 30 second spot aired in June 1999 during a showing of Pirates of Silicon Valley.
