|Buddy the Gee Man|
Buddy is a federal agent who is assigned to sneak into the "Sing Song" prison and check out what's going on there. While there the warden reveals that he banned singing at the prison. Buddy and dog named, "Gee Man" sneak into the prison at the same time the police deliver a tough bulldog named "Machine Gun Mike". The warden reveals his slogan, which is, "All work and no play". Buddy is scribbling notes, while we take a closer look at the prisoners.
Machine Gun Mike receives a letter and expects that it's from his girl, however, turns out to be something quite different; it turns out to be a chain letter. The prisoners laugh at his letter, but the warden stops them by shouting, "Stop! No laughing is allowed here."
A prisoner, instead of breaking rocks like he should, is only taking a nap and tapping the rocks because he has a tiny hammer in his hand. The warden arrives and gives him a much bigger sledgehammer, and then tells him to go to work. The prisoners, who're not the smartest of the bunch, almost hit the warden over the head and smash it on some rocks. The warden doesn't respond well and punishes the prisoner by working with the small hammer again.
Elsewhere Machine Gun Mike hopes to have better living accommodations and attempts to free himself by shooting himself out a cannon. It backfires and the warden responds with, "Get back to work." Buddy and Gee Man are watching all of this in the meantime. Buddy then responds back to the department and their head with a plan. A headline shows up reading, "Buddy made warden!"
A group of prisoners respond back in cheers. When Buddy becomes warden he turns the prison into more of a resource, serving the prisoners ice cream, getting their nails shined by good-looking manicurists. The place becomes so fun and joyous that Machine Gun Mike burns up his pardon paper. In the meantime, the Warden gets hammered, and Buddy holds up a sign saying, "No Vacancies."
