The Platypus Brothers are watching a cooking show by Emu Child (a parody of Chef Julia Child) until a hungry Taz eats their television. They offer to make him an omelet but Taz eats all their eggs raw. They remember that, during a recent bird-watching expedition on a nearby mountain, they spied some eggs large enough to fill Taz' mouth. Unfortunately, the mountain is too steep for Taz to climb. The Platypus Brothers decide to help him with some of their inventions, each of which fails more spectacularly than the last. Through sheer luck, Taz finally lands right on top of the eggs, just as they hatch! A giant eagle, presumably their mother, lands on the nest and flicks Taz off the mountain. All that remains is for The Platypus Brothers to inadvertently initiate the hilarious surprise ending.
This episode marks the first appearance of The Platypus Brothers.
